‘Elephant’ is the debut collection of poetry by writer, poet, and performer Siana Bangura. Join us for a night of celebration and brave, bold, and candid performances from Siana and her special guests.

‘Elephant’ will be released worlwide on Saturday 21st May 2016 – join us as we make the final countdown to ‘Elephant’.

There will be performances from:

Janel Antoneshia
Ayelle

And musical accompaniments throughout the night from Marcus Joseph and his marvellous Saxaphone and Julia Vaughan on Viola.

DJ Sid Mercutio will be spinning tunes throughout the night and into the early hours.

This will be a night to remember.

Early bird tickets are £18; General release is £22. Ticket prices include a signed copy of ‘Elephant’ by Siana Bangura and a limited edition postcard.

Doors open at 8pm. Show starts at 9pm promptly.

Siana Bangura

Siana Bangura is a writer, poet, performer and producer hailing from South East London. She is the author of critically acclaimed debut collection, 'Elephant', a book of poetry meditating on Black British womanhood and life growing up in London and the founder and former editor of No Fly on the WALL. Siana is the producer of '1500 & Counting', a documentary film investigating deaths in custody in the UK. With experience in indie publishing, journalism, and campaigns under her belt, Siana’s wide portfolio of work focuses on bringing voices on the margins to the centre.
