SIANA
Siana sees an opportunity for creative problem-solving behind every challenge. A keen disruptor and weaver of networks, Siana skilfully builds bridges between people, concepts and visions, developing the necessary infrastructure for magic to happen.
Across the board, her work is rooted in a Black Feminist practice, influenced by Socialism and Black Marxism. Her heroes include James Baldwin, Nina Simone, Malcolm X, Angela Davis, bell hooks, Toni Morrison, and the intersectionality work of Kimberle Crenshaw.

Commissions
Get in touch for creative and journalistic writing commissions. Present projects include a non-fiction collection of essays and the play, ‘Swim, Aunty, Swim!’; opening at Begrade Theatre Coventry in May 2024.
Production
Siana works across theatre, film, live and digital events; some co-productions include the Tottenham Literature Festival with the Bernie Grant Arts Centre (2020) and a movement building conference with Netpol (2023).
Speaking
Her public speaking engagements include contributions at: Conway Hall; Southbank Centre, WOW Festival; Richmix; Roundhouse; Black Girl Festival, Wembley Stadium and international poetry performances.
